Retail Industry IntepretersThis largely customer-oriented sector of the economy has long been a global business in which companies often operate in different regions of the world. This makes excellent communication a prerequisite for success. It is therefore important that interpreters understand the terminology associated with Retail Industry specifications. This ensures that interpretation is precise and no misunderstandings occur. Companies often export goods to foreign countries, in which case it is important to have a good understanding of local customs and culture in order to adapt marketing strategies to their most profitable potential.

Our Retail Industry interpreters, besides being highly skilled and experienced interpreters often have a background or qualification in Retail Industry related subjects. Their experience means they are able to interpret with both an awareness of industry specific terminology and cultural and linguistic nuance, something which can make all the difference to a successful product.

We are very happy to arrange for our interpreters to meet your clients anywhere and provide interpreting services all over the globe.  As a follow-up assistance, we also provide a Translation service. For this, please see our TransIation Page

What form/s of interpretation can TJC Global provide?

Video / videoconference interpretingVideo Remote Interpreting is especially useful for online virtual discussions when participants do not speak a common language. Video Remote Interpreting can be used for conference calls, virtual trainings, legal consultations, or interactions related to any other matter or industry. Participants can communicate with each other via video or voice calls using laptops, smartphones, tablets etc. For the purpose of taking minutes, these calls can be recorded. Video Remote Interpreting also reduces logistical costs.

Our professionally qualified interpreters will join the specific setting you require - whether this be a business meeting, event or legal proceeding - and interpret remotely in order to facilitate smooth communication between all parties, a language pairing you require.

Telephone / teleconference interpreting is a practical way to bridge any language barriers. The interpreter is either located remotely (away from either party) or is with one of the parties. In both cases they deliver interpreting services through telephone conferencing.

Telephone interpretation is useful for clients who cannot travel to their counterparts' country, but still wish, for example, to hold business discussions or to communicate progress updates.  At TJC Global, we are very happy to provide you with professionally qualified interpreters around the world in almost any selected language combinations.

Simultaneous interpreting (also available with Video Remote Interpretation (VRI))

is used for international conferences, critical business discussions, seminars & symposiums. In this case, there are usually two to three interpreters situated in a booth, away from the audience, who take turns to interpret at high speed, changing over every 15-20 minutes to avoid fatigue.

The interpreters use headsets to listen to the message of the speaker and repeat it immediately (practically "simultaneously") in the target language for the benefit of relevant audience members.

Consecutive interpreting (also available with Video Remote Interpretation (VRI)) is the most common type of interpreting. It is used for business discussions, negotiations, contract exchanges, commercial, legal, technical discussions, medical or court hearings or on site inspections. The interpreter listens to the speaker, often making notes, and delivers the meaning in the target language afterwards. The interpreter may wait until a pause or the end, at which point they deliver a translation relatively quickly. Consecutive interpreting may also be used at conferences for panel discussions, Q&A sessions or private discussions between parties - at a stand or elsewhere.
